05The guide

Images into one PDF

When to convert JPG to PDF

A PDF is the safest way to send pictures that have to arrive as one tidy file: a scanned form, receipts for an expense claim, photos of a document, a set of screenshots or a portfolio. Upload forms for jobs, visas and schools often accept only PDF, and a single PDF is easier to email than ten separate photos.

This JPG to PDF converter works on the page itself. Drop the images, pick the page size, and download one PDF with every image on its own page. PNG, WebP and screenshots work too, so it doubles as an image to PDF converter for anything you have.

How to combine several images into one PDF

Drop up to 100 images at once. Each one becomes a page, in the order shown in the list, and Download PDF saves them together as a single file. To change the order, remove an image and add it again so it moves to the end.

Choose A4 or Letter for documents you will print or submit: wide pictures get a landscape page and every image is centred and scaled to fit. Choose Fit image when you want each page to be exactly the size of its picture, for example for a photo book or slides. Margins can be none, small or large.

Quality, file size and privacy

Every page keeps the full resolution of its image. The quality slider sets how the pictures are compressed inside the PDF: around 85 keeps photos sharp while the file stays small enough to email. Lower it if an upload form has a size limit. Transparent areas in PNG files are filled with the colour you pick, white by default.

The PDF is made in your browser, on your own device, so your scans and documents are never uploaded to a server. Converting is free with no watermark, and a free CutLift account unlocks the download. It works the same on iPhone, Android and computers, with no app to install.
